ICT BLOOD DRIVE

The 36th Annual I.C.T Blood drive is today  (Tuesday)  and students along with concerned people in the community are prepared to line up and give the gift of life.

This has become a pre-Thanksgiving tradition for career and technology students at Brenham High School.  Hundreds of students who are over 17, or 16 with their parents consent can donate blood.  They also ask everyone in the community to come out and donate blood.

Last year the blood drive collected 665 units.  The record was set in 2008 when 1013 units of blood were donated.

One unit of blood can save three lives.

The blood drive is also a fun time to eat some delicious food in a pre-Thanksgiving meal

The ICT Blood drive is from 8am to 6pm, today (Tuesday)  at the Brenham High School Career and Technology Lab.
