JUVENILE RETURNED TO FAYETTE COUNTY ACHIEVEMENT CENTER
A Fayette County juvenile has been returned to the Whispering Hills Achievement Center after running away from the facility on Monday morning, according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek.
In the early morning hours of Monday, a male juvenile was reported to have run away from the facility, which is located on FM 609 near Farek Loth Rd.
A search was conducted by the Fayette County sheriff’s Office, DPS, and the Flatonia, Muldoon and La Grange Fire Departments.
A citizen located the juvenile on Ehler-Grasshoff Road and reported it to the Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the juvenile had taken a bicycle from the facility and rode away, and was located by authorities around 7:20am.
