KWHI TO HOST ANOTHER ‘CANDIDATES FORUM’ THIS EVENING

  

KWHI will host another “Candidates’ Forum” for the Texas House District 13 Representative’s race this evening at 5:40pm at the Brenham National Bank Lobby.

Carolyn Bilski and Leighton Schubert will face off in the Forum, both vying for the District 13 State Representative Seat.

The Forum will be broadcast live on KWHI 1280 and streamed live on KWHI.com and on the KWHI mobile app.

Bilski and Schubert were the top voters choices in the January 13th Special Election to replace Lois Kolkhorst as the State Representative for District 13, with Bilski, from Austin County, receiving 43 percent of the vote, while Schubert, from Burleson County, receiving 32 percent.

District 13 includes Washington, Burleson, Grimes, Austin, Colorado, Fayette and Lavaca counties.
