MAIFEST CORONATIONS QUICKLY APPROACHING
The 126th Junior and Senior Maifest Coronations are taking place this weekend.
The Junior Maifest Coronation will be held on Friday evening at 7:00pm. Children will participate in a ceremony that will provide entertainment as well as the presentation of the Junior King and Queen. Live bands will begin at 5:30pm and continue throughout the evening on Fireman’s Park main stage.
On Saturday at 7:00pm, the Senior Maifest Coronation will take place. Music will begin at 9:00pm with Will Carter headlining at 10:30pm.
Dr. Heather Thielemann, Maifest Board President says that there is a lot of preparation that goes into the coronations and that neither will want to be missed.
General admission tickets for the coronations are available: $5 for students and $10 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Atrium Building at 105 East Main Street and at the coronation practices this week.
