MORNING FOG PLAYED ROLE IN BURLESON COUNTY ACCIDENT
Yesterday morning’s (Tuesday) fog played a role in an accident involving a semi and a car in Burleson County.
20 year old, Brittany Weichert of Caldwell was driving her car and crashed into the back of the semi-truck. DPS said that the semi was turning off of FM 50 onto Highway 21 just after 8:00am.
DPS says Weichert suffered broken bones, but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Charges are possible, but as of yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon none had been filed. DPS is currently investigating the accident.
