ONE PERSON INJURED IN SINGLE CAR ACCIDENT ON SATURDAY

One person was injured in a major one car- accident on Highway 50 near the Independence Firearms that had 50 closed in both directions.

The accident occurred around 9:27 Saturday morning, when the driver, 70-year old Larry Till, says that he was driving south on Highway 50 when he swerved left to avoid hitting a deer

There was EMS on the scene and a medical helicopter, as well as fire trucks, and Till was transported to Memorial Hermann in Houston.
