POLICE WARN OF PAYCHECK SCAM

  

Brenham police are warning local business owners about a possible paycheck scam.

Officials say a black male, wearing a black hat and black shirt and accompanied by a black female, have approached several businesses about cashing a fraudulent paycheck from Med Force, Medical Services Inc, with a Jones Road, Houston address.

Police have verified with the company that it is a fraudulent check. The suspects are driving a white Nissan passenger car with no front license plate.

Local business owners are being warned that if the suspects come into their business asking to cash the check, contact Central Communications at 337-7272 and ask for an officer to be dispatched to your address.
