SCARECROW FESTIVAL UNDERWAY
Downtown Chappell Hill is hosting the 39th Annual Scarecrow Festival this weekend.
The event is sponsored by the Chappell Hill Historical Society Saturday from 9am until 6pm, and Sunday from 10am until 5pm.
There are 250 vendors on hand, along with country style food, live music and tours of the historic community.
Live music this weekend includes: Cloggers Unlimited, Abigail Taylor, Wawel Houston, and the Providence Iron Works Band and well as Trey Yenger Music.
There will also be Children’s activities, including pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, and a barrel train.
There is no admission fee; however, there is a $5 parking fee, with lots located at FM 1155 and north of the Highway 290 and FM 1155 intersection.
