TWO ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
Two Bellville residents face charges after a traffic stop in Brenham.
Friday night, Cpl. Tommy Kurie, of the Brenham Police Department, conducted a traffic stop in the 2900 block of US 290 East.
Kuris says he could smell the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Both the driver and the front seat passenger claimed the marijuana as theirs, and handed a baggy containing it to Kurie.
19-year old Jesse James Smart and 18-year old Kodi Allen Dingle, both of Bellville, each face charges of Possession of Marijuana.
