TWO ARRESTED ON LOCAL WARRANTS

  

Two Brenham men are in custody after their arrests this past Friday on outstanding warrants.

At around 1:30 pm, Ofc. Kejan Mehlhorn says he spotted 47-year old James Earl Phillips in the area of the 200 block of Rippetoe St.

Phillips was taken into custody for two active warrants out of Washington County for Manufacture and Delivery Controlled Substance.

Then, around 11:00 p.m., Sgt. Todd Ashorn conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of South Day and West Stone.

In the vehicle was 43-year old Victor Manuel Molina-Dorantes of Brenham.

According to Ashorn, Molina-Dorantes was wanted on two warrants, one for Driving While Intoxicated and one for Driving Without a License.

Molina-Dorantes was taken to the Washington County Jail.
