TWO PEOPLE INJURED IN GRIMES COUNTY HOUSE COLLAPSE

  

Two people were injured after a house that was in the process of being torn down, trapped them in the structure after the roof collapsed on the top of them.

The home, located off of County Road 215 near Anderson, was once the home of Eddie Williams, Jr., who first thought it was family members who were trapped.

The trapped men, Bo Fenner and Wayne Paulhill, both in their sixties, both became trapped after Paulhill attempted to lift the heavy roof off of Fenner, according to the Grimes County sheriff’s office. Fenner managed to call 911 while trying to help Fenner.

Fenner was taken to St. Joseph’s in Bryan with back injuries, and Paulhill was also taken there will minor injuries.

Paulhill has since been released.
