TWO TEXAS A & M STUDENTS KILLED IN WEEKEND ACCIDENT

  

Two Texas A & M Students were killed and two more were injured Sunday morning around 1:10am in Grimes County on FM 244, two miles south of Carlos.

Twenty-year-old Alexis Emmou, from Killeen and twenty-two year old Corinthia Cunningham-Williams from Brookshire, were pronounced dead at the scene after the vehicle driven by Emmou, headed northwest on FM 244 and went to fast around the curve and left the road and hit a tree.

Two others in the vehicle were injured and taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Twenty-year old Rene Contreras from Kyle was listed in critical condition, and twenty-year old Tyra Preston, of Houston, was listed in stable condition.
