WARRANT ARREST IN BRENHAM
A Brenham man is in custody after his arrest on an outstanding warrant.
Wednesday night, Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Highway 290 West.
The driver, 38-year old Joe Edward Bayer Jr., was wanted on a felony warrant for motion to revoke on a charge of Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
As Bayer was being detained, Dudenhoeffer says he discovered a baggie of methamphetamines in the vehicle.
Bayer is also charged with Possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram.
