WASHINGTON CO. 4H HAS SUCCESS AT STATE ROUNDUP

  

The Washington County 4-H had a successful week at the Texas 4-H Round Up in College Station.

    Laura Zibilski – 1st Place Fashion Storyboard, 8th Place High Individual in the Soil Judging Contest, and competed in the Beef Educational Presentation Contest.

  • Jolie Wass and Brinley Linden were 2nd Place in the Trashion Show
  • The Livestock Judging Team of Shane Bentke, Keaton Schulte, Kendall Smidovec and Caden Warmke were 2nd High Team in Swine, 3rd High Team in Reasons. Warmke was 8th High Point Individual in Reasons.
  • Consumer Decision Making Team –Marshall Wagner, Alaina Kohring, Mary Caroline Bearden and Lizzie Vanek.
  • Photography Judging Team – Alexis Chaudron, Caroline Schulze, Taylor Klatte and Emma Gardner. Alexis Chaudron was the 2nd High Point Individual. The intermediate team of Jessalyn Bolcerek and Gretchen Schulze also competed.
  • Shane Bentke received a $20,000 San Antonio Livestock Exposition Scholarship as well as a $1,000 District 11 Extension Education Association Scholarship.
  • William Corn received a $18,000 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship. Corn also competed in the Public Speaking Contest.
  • Reid Bentke participated in the Open Ag & Natural Resources Educational Presentation Contest.
  • Taylor Klatte competed in the Open Health Educational Presentation Contest.
