CALDWELL AND COLLEGE STATION TENNIS PLAYERS GOING TO TO STATE MEET

Two area schools will be sending team to compete at the State Tennis Tournament starting tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. 

The Boys Doubles Team of Connor Hughson and Waylon Chapman of Caldwell will compete in the 4A Quarterfinals against Eli Frosch and Kayden Lengacher of Kaufman. 

The match begins at 9:15am at the Annemarie Tennis Center in San Antonio. They would then have the Semifinals at 3:15pm, and the State Championship match would be Wednesday at 8:30am.

Meanwhile, Paxton O’Shea and Maya Diyasheva of College Station High School will compete in the 5A Mixed Doubles Tournament. 

They will face the Frisco Reedy team of Isabella Smith and Max Henderson in the quarterfinals tomorrow morning at 9:15am at the North Side Tennis Center in Helotes.

The semifinals will be at 2pm. The State Championship match is Wednesday at 8:30am.
