BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT CALLED OUT WEDNESDAY
The Brenham Fire Department was called out to a pair of small fires, Wednesday.
Just before 2:00 p.m., Brenham and Chappell Hill firefighters were called to a small grass fire in the 6700 block of Chadwick-Hogan Road.
According to authorities, a burning trash pile had ignited a small area of grass near a structure. Firefighters extinguished the fire—there was not reported damage.
The Brenham Department was then called out just before 7:00 p.m. to a parking lot in the 300 block of MLK Boulevard
Upon arrival, the fire had been extinguished by the owner.
The department reports minor damage to the Chevy pickup.
The fire is under investigation.
