BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES

  

A Brenham man faces multiple charges after his arrest Saturday morning after a traffic stop.

Officer Hunter Andras reports he overheard dispatch say someone had called, in reference to a reckless driver near the intersection of Hwy 105 and E. Blue Bell Rd.

The caller stated the driver was swerving in and out of lanes.

Andras pulled over the vehicle in the 1200 block of S. Austin.

Andras says there was a case of beer in the vehicle with some empty cans on the floor board and and open can in the front.  Andras says he could smell the strong odor of alcohol coming from the car.

After failing a field sobriety test, 58-year old Feliciano Gamez-Martinez is charged with Driving While Intoxicated with and Open Container.  He was also charged with having No driver’s license.
