CUBETTE SOCCER WINS NEEDVILLE TOURNEY

On a cold windy day the Cubettes held Alief-Elsik scoreless the first half while they played against the wind. The second half the Cubettes played with the wind at their backs and 5 minutes into the half Fatima Aguado assisted Chloe Tanner for a 1-0 lead. With 17 minutes to go in the game a ball rolled out to defender Presli Allie who sent her 35 yard shot over the keeper to give the Cubettes the 2-0 lead and final score. Ashlyn Wells has the shutout in goal. The Brenham Cubettes won the Needville Lady Jay Invitational tournament.
