ENTRY DEADLINE NEARING FOR CHAPPELL HILL SCARECROW CONTEST

  

The deadline for entries for the Chappell Hill Historical Society’s Annual Scarecrow Contest is next Monday (Oct.1).

Residents of Chappell Hill are encouraged to take part.

Scarecrows must be displayed by next Monday and judging will take place on Saturday, October 6th.

Entry Forms will be available at the Museum on Poplar St. and must be submitted by this Saturday (Sept. 29).

This year’s prizes include:

Residents/Business Category – 1st Place - $100.00, 2nd Place - $75.00, 3rd Place - $50.00

Children’s Category – 1st Place – $50.00, 2nd Place - $25.00, 3rd Place - $15.00

After all the entries are submitted the Chappell Hill Historical Society will provide a list on their website and available at the office of all the entries for viewing of the scarecrows.
