LADY LIONS DONATE BLANKETS TO BRENHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Washington County Ladies Lions Club met with the new Police Chief Craig Goodman and donated blankets to the department.

Since being chartered in 2011, the club has presented quilts to local law enforcement agencies to present to young children who find are found  in harm’s way and in need of a security blanket.  Their names are written on the labels and is theirs for life.

President LaVerne Krumrey stated that it is a joy to see the club be of service to the community.
