PRE-DAWN ATM THEFT

  

Brenham police are investigating an early morning building burglary in which the culprits did damage to an automatic teller machine, while stealing an undetermined amount of cash from it.

Police came to the scene at 2:55 this (Friday) morning, after an alarm sounded in the convenience store in the 1800 block of South Blue Bell Road.

The officers found the front glass door pried open and the ATM damaged.  Money had been stolen but the amount is still being accounted for.

The investigation continues.
