WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO ACT ON BID FOR INMATE FOOD SERVICES AT JAIL

The possible acceptance of a bid for inmate food services at the Washington County Jail leads a relatively light agenda for county commissioners at their meeting Tuesday.

At their last meeting, commissioners opened a pair of bids received for services at the jail.  The two bidders were Trinity Services Group and Aramark.

Commissioners will also act on formal notice from GeoSouthern Chalk II for a temporary above-ground fresh water line.  Upon approval, the line will be laid within county right-of-way on Ganske Road, Helm Road, Maass Road and Zibilksi Road in Precinct Three, as well as Old Mill Creek Road and Hohenwalde School Road in Precinct Four.

The court will also hear monthly reports from the Road and Bridge Department, EMS, Information Technology, and the Veterans Service Officer.

Commissioners will meet Tuesday morning at 9 a.m., at the Washington County Courthouse.
