BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD ACCEPTS THREE DONATIONS

  

The Brenham School Board accepted three sizeable donations to the school district during Monday night’s meeting.

Michael Groves, President of the Brenham Booster Club, presented the Board with a check for $17,000 for the athletic program.  Linda Montgomery of the Brenham Area Retired School Personnel presented a check for $500 for the Early Childhood Learning Center.  And a $2500 check from Blue Bell Creameries was accepted as a donation toward a press box for Alumni softball field at Brenham High School.

The Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library was announced as the recipient of this month’s “You Make a Difference Award”.  The Library hosted BISD’s fall “Block Party” last month.
