CUBS AND HORNETS RESUME RIVALRY TONIGHT
The Brenham Cubs renew one of their longest-standing rivalries tonight, when they host the Huntsville Hornets at Cubs Stadium.
This is the 48th time the two teams have met, with the Cubs holding a 25-20-2 edge.
The Cubs (6-2/4-1) are coming off their first district loss, falling to Willis last week, 50-43.
The Hornets (4-4/3-2) have won their last two district games, defeating Waller (38-10) and Tomball (47-27).
Cubs’ Head Coach Glen West says there’s a lot riding on tonight’s game for both teams…
West says Huntsville always features an outstanding array of athletes…
Kickoff at Cubs Stadium is set for 7:30.
Tonight’s game can be heard on KWHI and www.kwhi.com beginning with the Pre-Game Show at 7:00.
