DR. WALTER JACKSON TO ADDRESS ‘BLACK HISTORY BREAKFAST’
Brenham superintendent Walter Jackson is the featured speaker at tomorrow’s (Saturday) Brenham Activist Association Black History Breakfast.
The annual breakfast is scheduled for 9 a.m. in the Blinn College Student Center.
Jackson is the first African-American superintendent in the Brenham ISD, the oldest public school district in the state of Texas. Jackson is also an ordained minister.
He is currently on the board of directors of Baylor Scott & White Hospital, Brenham Children’s Chorus, Miracle Farm, Washington County Chamber of Commerce, University Interscholastic League and Equity Center.
