LOBOS MAKES MAJOR COCAINE BUST
Approximately $600,000 in cocaine was confiscated and two men from Mexico were arrested after a drug bust by Fayette County canine, Lobos.
Friday, Sgt. Randy Thumann stopped a vehicle on I-10 on a traffic violation.
After what Thumann says was a confusing travel itinerary, Lobos was given consent to search the vehicle.
Hidden behind the vehicles rear quarter panes were five bundles of cocaine, weighing approximately six kilos.
54-year oldJuan Manuel Gutierrez Bacerra and 74-year old Jose Montemayor Gutierrez, both of Mexico, were arrested and taken to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
