NAVASOTA TO GET NEW SCOTT & WHITE CLINIC

  

The city of Navasota is getting a new healthcare clinic.

Baylor Scott and White is set to build a new clinic in Navasota at the Highway 6 loop and Stacey Street.

Jason Jennings, president of the College Station region for Baylor Scott and White Health, says the facilty will be about 5000 square feet with 9 exam rooms and a treatment room.  Jennings says it will start with one provider but it will soon grow to three.

The city of Navasota has already approved the conditional use permit for the property.

Final site plan approval is up for action this Thursday.  The building plans have already been approved.

City officials say with all the growth in the area it will be a huge benefit to have the new facility.

Baylor Scott and White says they chose the spot to help serve people better.

They plan to break ground in January 2018. They want to have the clinic ready by the summer.
