NINE PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT THIS WEEK
Nine people pled guilty in District Court this week and were sentenced by Judge Carson Campbell.
Andre Shamon Harris, 30 of Chappell Hill, was sentenced to 2 years in prison for Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation and for Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon.
Kelley West, 53 of Burton was sentenced to 2 years in prison for Injury to Elderly Individual and Exploitation of Elderly. She was also sentenced to 2 years in state jail for Credit Card Abuse and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
Gamarcus Sheppard, 21 of Brenham, was sentenced to 24 months is state jail for Burglary of Building. He was also ordered to pay $400 in restitution.
Ivory Dywite Cornett, 21 of Houston, was sentenced to 22 months in state jail for Theft Property between $2,500 and $30,000.
Joshua Scott Waters, 18 of Industry, was sentenced to 10 years deferred adjudication probation for Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon. He was also ordered to pay a $2500 fine, perform 350 hours of community service and spend 10 days in the Washington County Jail as a condition of probation.
Garrett Bednarsky, 23 of Conroe, was sentenced to 2 years in state jail probated to 3 years for Delivery of Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. He was also ordered to pay a $1500 fine and perform 150 hours of community service.
Irahim Keji Okulaja, 33 of Houston, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for Tampering with a Government Record. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 150 of community service.
Freezia Fern Trevino, 33 of Brenham, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of Controlled Substance. She was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine and perform 120 hours of community service.
Lynette Faye Gardner, 37 of Ledbetter, was sentenced to 2 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of Controlled Substance. She was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine and perform 100 hours of community service.
