SEALY’S LEVINE FAMILY PARK TO BE REPLANTED

The Levine Family Park in Sealy is being replanted.

The Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association is taking responsibility for the project, planting new shrubbery and flowers around the park.  A new irrigation system is also being installed, to help tend to the flowers more efficiently.

The project began with the removal of some dead trees at the entrance to the park.  The trees had been infected with a fungus that began to spread to nearby flowers.  There were also six-foot-tall bushes that were removed from the park.  The Master Gardener Association will continue to plant roses, bushes and other plants throughout the summer and into next fall.
