SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES MAKE WARRANT ARREST WEDNESDAY

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports that it arrested a Brenham man on outstanding warrants out of New Mexico Wednesday.  Tristan Michael Hyde, age 31, was arrested after a tip led deputies to his location in the 300 block of Main Street.

Deputies learned earlier that Hyde was in Brenham and that he was a wanted fugitive in Lincoln County, New Mexico.  The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was contacted and they confirmed that their agency possessed two felony warrants for Hyde’s arrest and that they would extradite.  Hyde was arrested and charged with Failure to Appear on Arraignment  and Failure to Pay Fine on original charge of Fraud both felony charges out of New Mexico.

Hyde remains incarcerated at the Washington County Jail pending extradition to New Mexico.  Hyde has prior felony convictions for Theft for Washington County as well as Waller County was just recently discharged from parole.
