WALLER MAN UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR EXPLOSIONS

  

Grimes County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man they believe is responsible for a series of explosions on roads in the Todd Mission area.

According to authorities, 36-year-old Kristopher Walker, was arrested on Tuesday for possession of marijuana and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He is also under investigation for a series of explosions that were set off in Grimes County.

The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office started the investigation after residents reported the explosions along a country road. The explosions were noisy and caused vibrations, but no injuries were reported.

Authorities say they executed a warrant at Walker’s residence on Tuesday and found marijuana, guns, and similar items like those used in the road side explosions.

The explosions remain under investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
