FAITH MISSION TO SERVE ANNUAL THANKSGIVING MEAL THURSDAY AT CANNERY KITCHEN

Faith Mission will serve its annual Thanksgiving meal Thursday to all those in the community that are in need.

Doors open at 11 a.m. to the Cannery Kitchen, at 314 East Alamo Street in Brenham, and meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Guests will be served turkey, dressing, yams, green bean casserole, cranberries, rolls, gravy, and pumpkin pie.  Meals will also be delivered to those that are homebound.

Faith Mission Executive Director Reverend Randy Wells says around 300 people are served annually at the meal at the Cannery Kitchen, with another 250 or so meals delivered.  He says Faith Mission puts on the event every year in order to bring the community together and give people an opportunity to share a meal with those who care.

The meal is free and open to the public, but free will donations are accepted.

Faith Mission is also accepting turkey donations for the meal.  Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative is sponsoring this year helping provide turkeys.
