BISD TO REVIEW SUPERINTENDENT APPLICANTS TUESDAY NIGHT
The search for a new superintendent for the Brenham Independent School District takes its next step Tuesday evening.
The BISD Board of Trustees will meet in executive session to review the applicants for position formerly held by Dr. Walter Jackson.

Jackson has begun his new role as superintendent of the La Porte ISD. Back in May, former Tomball ISD Superintendent Huey Kinchen was named Brenham ISD’s interim superintendent.
Tuesday, the board will go over the applications and set the list of candidates to be interviewed for the post. Those preliminary interviews will take place July 13th, 14th and 16th. Final interviews will be July 18th and 19th.
Tuesday’s closed door meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. at the BISD Administration Building at 711 Mansfield Street.
