BRYAN OFFICERS INJURED WHEN GUN DISCHARGES

  

Two Bryan police officers were wounded when a gun accidentally went off at the police station, Wednesday night.

According to Bryan P.D. officials, the two officers are with the department's Tactical Response Team, and were injured when the gun accidentally discharged.

The two officers were taken to CHI St. Joseph Regional Health Hospital to be treated.  Both were released last night.

The department says an administrative review of policies, procedures, and training will take place to determine what can be done to ensure that similar incidents never occur.

No other details, including the identities of the offers, were released.
