CUBETTES RAISE FUNDS FOR ‘SIDE-OUT’ WITH DIG PINK NIGHT

HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL
TUESDAY NIGHT

A packed gymnasium turned out for Tuesday night's Dig Pink volleyball game at Brenham High School.

First-place A&M Consolidated downed the Cubettes, 3-1 to go to 12-0 in district 19/5A play, while the Cubettes fall to 8-4, creating a 3-way tie for second in the district.

The big winner on the night was the Side Out Foundation, as proceeds from the admissions, t-shirt sales and bucket drawings benefited breast cancer awareness and research.

Final numbers are not yet available for the total money raised for the Side-Out Foundation.

The Cubettes will face another huge match, Friday, when they travel to Waller (8-4) for a 6:00 start.
