INDEPENDENCE COMMUNITY EVENTS FOR 4TH OF JULY
The city of Independence has announced its slate of events for the 4th of July.
Next Wednesday will kick off with a trail ride at 1 p.m. There will be live music performed by Steven Marshall at 3 p.m., and a Red, White and Blue Water Balloon Fight at 3:30 p.m.
The Independence Day Parade gets underway at 5 p.m., with a street dance and live music from the Risky Liver Band following at 5:30 p.m. The evening concludes with a fireworks display at 9:15 p.m.
All festivities take place in downtown Independence.
