WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS E911, TUESDAY

  

 

Washington County’s E911 system will be the topic of two interlocal agreements, to be discussed Tuesday by the County Commissioners Court.

The agreements involve Washington County and Brazos Valley Council of Governments.

The first agreement is for E911 public safety answering point services.

Under the agreement, the local government would operate and maintain public safety answering points, provide 911 public safety answering service 24 hours per day, seven days a week; and cooperate with the Brazos Vally Council of Governments in providing and maintaining suitable service space.

The second agreement is for E911 database maintenance services.

Also on Tuesday’s agenda:

Awarding a contract for jail medical services.

A service contract between the sheriff’s office and Voice Products Service.

The presentation of an award by EMS Director Kevin Deramus.

Hourly rate changes for multiple E911 positions.

The presentation of services awards for county employees with 20 and 25 years of service.

Consideration of a right of way parade permit for the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce Independence Day Parade.

There will also be numerous monthly reports.

Washington County Commissioners will meet at the courthouse, Tuesday morning at 9:00.
