BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO HEAR COVID-19 UPDATE

COVID-19 and custodial services will be among the topics discussed at Monday’s meeting of the Brenham School Board.

Brenham ISD Health and Safety Director Jamie Woodall will present a COVID-19 update to the board.  As of Friday, according to the COVID-19 dashboards for each individual campus, the district had 86 active cases among students and staff, and 273 cumulative cases since the start of classes in August.

Also on Monday, trustees will consider a contract addendum with ABM for custodial services for the 2021-22 school year.

The board will also:

  • Perform the first reading of possible revisions to school policy concerning innovation districts, employment requirements and restrictions, credentials and records, employment practices, probationary contracts and assignment and schedules for the school year.
  • Hear reports from the superintendent and other monthly reports.

The board will meet Monday evening at 6 p.m. in Rooms 111 and 113 at Brenham High School.  The meeting will be livestreamed on Brenham ISD’s YouTube channel.

  1. Hoping they put some more stringent rules in place for people who call in sick and then come to work and then it turns out they really have COVID. Make people get tested! I’m tired of working amongst all these people calling in and then coming to work the next day and then calling in with covid!
